Managing Events
The calendar capability allows an individual to schedule events, send invitations, and receive rsvps. You can get to this feature multiple ways, but the easiest is to use the Events link at the top menu of any page. Upcoming events are posted on homepage at the top of the right hand column. From there you can click on any event to get more information such as the date, time, place, and attendees (if an invitation was created). The time period in parentheses in the Upcoming Events refers to how much longer before the event will occur.
Once you enter into the calendar view, you will see the events for the current month by default. However, you can change this to view the week, day, or events in a table. The double arrow keys on either side of the month allow you to see previous or future events. By clicking on the event title you will be able to see detailed information to include date, time, and location. You can also post a comment here if you want to give others more information such as a recommended hotel or material they need to bring to the meeting.
