Course Evaluation at Kazakhstani PTC
From November 30 through December 11, in accordance with the Individual Action Plan of the Partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and NATO, the first “Military terminology in Multinational Operations” course was conducted in the Partnership Training Center (PTC) of the Defense Institute of Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces. The course is aimed to train Kazakhstani military officers for working in the multinational forces headquarters during peacekeeping operations.
Summer Academies in Tajikistan focuses on security and cooperation
The fifth edition of the NATO Summer Academy in Tajikistan took place on July 6-12 2009 in the of Tajikistan. It was organized by the Information, Education and Cultural Center Vector Intellect, a non-governmental organization based in Dushanbe, in collaboration with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division. The event aims at highlighting common challenges to security and cooperation chances for future young leaders.
The Academy brings together students from across Central Asia and Afghanistan to meet with academics, diplomats and representatives from international organisations such as the OSCE, the EU and NATO as the main contributor.
