"ATOM2008" EOC WORKSHOP AND TTX

Inter-ministerial/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Workshop and Table Top Exercise (TTX) were held at the Armenian Rescue Service (ARS) in Yerevan, Armenia on 14-18 July 2008.  These bi-lateral CMEP events were facilitated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Kansas State Partnership Program. Additional support was provided by the US Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia and Partnership for Peace Information Management System (PIMS).

Up to 100 representatives from 19 ministries and organizations participated in the EOC Workshop and Table Top Exercise. 70 participants collaborated in the TTX as well. A scenario of the latter set in with a power plant failure and progressed to additional 76 injects including an earthquake.
