Fixed Network Connectivity

For over a decade, PIMS has provided a distributed intranet to link PfP Partners with US and NATO colleagues. This capability reaches "beyond desktop" to include hardware, software, peripherals, satellite bandwidth/local Internet Service Provider rental as well as the logistics, IT support, and network administration to keep the network functioning.

PIMS seeks cost-effective solutions wherever possible. As local connectivity becomes more reliable, PIMS Network Technicians and In Country Coordinators adjust the network configurations to maintain a good level of connectivity

PIMS extends the distributed intranet capabilities to the site of interoperability exercises and conferences so that the events function efficiently and allow participants reap the most benefit.
